Types of Chemical Peels

  • AFA® Facial Peel Treatments

The AFA® Facial Peel Treatment in-office applications are a safe and effective way to improve common patient concerns with photo-damaged skin. The AFA® Facial Peel Treatments help exfoliate dead skin cells with less irritation than alpha-hydroxy acid peels (glycolic and salicylic acid) and are specially designed for patients with dry and/or more sensitive skin.

The AFA® Facial Peel Treatment gels come in five different strengths 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 for added customization and to meet patients’ varying skin needs.

  • Glycolic Peels

A Glycolic Peel can improve conditions resulting from acne, sun-damage, melasma, or other excess pigmentation problems. Glycolic Peels can improve the feel and appearance of dry, dull, or lifeless skin.

During the glycolic peel process, the skin sheds dead cells, and a new layer of skin is revealed resulting in a smoother, and fresher skin surface. A Glycolic Peel stimulates your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.
